My OHP Experience

About Me
My name is Ellery Pollard and throughout my four years at Ohio University, I was part of the OHIO Honors Program's pilot cohort. I began my academic journey with the intention of earning a bachelor's in English Creative Writing and a minor in Psychology, but because of this program, I have come away with so much more.

Because of the experiences I sought as an undergraduate, I have also received certificates in International Cultural Understanding and Italian Studies. I also got to participate in the Bobcat/Crow Cultural Exchange Lab through OPIE, during which I made friends via Zoom from Perm, Russia. I plan on continuing to work internationally, whether it be through my future career, volunteer organizations, or just for fun. Each time I experience another culture, my worldview expands and I never want that to change.

In the immediate future, I will be pursuing an experience as a Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) fellow during which I will be ministering to college students at the University of Memphis. This program includes intensive Biblical and ministry training, intentional opportunities for growth and ministry experience, and a capstone project.
