Curious publishes short stories, flash fiction, poems, creative nonfiction, short comics, fine art, and even music in a digital setting whenever we have the opportunity. Specifically, we are looking for submissions that make us think, and that draw interesting comparisons or conclusions about life. We want to be taught something.

 

We believe in all forms of storytelling and strive for diversity in medium and genre. If you have a story to tell that does not fall under any of these categories, please feel free to contact us to discuss your ideas.

 

Submission Guidelines:

• Length restrictions

  • Short stories and nonfiction: no more than 4,000 words

  • Flash fiction: no more than 1,000 words

  • Comics: no more than 3 full pages

  • Music: 2-5 minutes

  • Poetry and fine art: the world is your oyster

• File formats

  • Fiction, nonfiction, poetry: double spaced Word documents

  • Comics and fine art: JPEG or PNG files (20-30KB)

  • Music: MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, WMA, AAC, AIF, or AIFF files (<50MB)

• Please include your name and email address with your submission
