To hear the words preached,
To heed the counsel given,
To listen to what is said
May be harder than finding the meaning.
Wisdom is often lost with the weak,
And wasted on the strong.
In lives pushing for completion,
We want to be fulfilled.
But if we only died when complete,
We’d truly live forever.
There is nothing but room,
Room to evolve and change
And become something far from whole.
Be free, then, of the burdens
And embrace this emptiness.
